I have a broad background across engineering, manufacturing, technical sales and business leadership within globally operating organisations.

I began my career in project management within a large engineering group serving international automotive customers where I developed strong foundations in manufacturing operations and delivery.

Key early experience includes:

• Implementing automated production systems for brake and piston manufacturing
• Improving efficiency in high-volume automotive production environments
• Leading manufacturing relocation projects
• Managing full lifecycle delivery of specialist filtration technology from concept through to volume production

 Over the past five years I have supported more than 100 SMEs through a manufacturing advisory organisation delivering practical business improvement support across a wide range of initiatives.

This has included:

• Delivering structured business improvement programmes
• Leading training and capability development
• Supporting continuous improvement (CI) projects
• Advancing Net Zero and sustainability initiatives
• Supporting digital transformation and Industry 4.0 adoption
• Advising on capital investment and supporting grant applications

I have worked across both commercial and publicly funded programmes, supporting organisations at various stages of growth

Prior to my advisory work for over 25 years I have held senior leadership roles within internationally focused businesses including:

• Management of global sales team and  distribution for engineering component business 
• Building and scaling a specialist filtration technology business within a global market place
• Manging first concept to volume projects for OEM customers within automotive and Industrial markets
• Operating at product group Vice President level with responsibility for operations, sales and business development
• Operational leadership for a bespoke machine tool manufacturer delivering a full project lifecycle from concept to Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
• Building aftermarket distribution in Asia, Europe and North America
